Fast Eddie
Saw them Play with Penny Regime and Dingleberry Dynasty at the Eastport Clipper. Sharing members with Uncle Vito these guys really know how to play. Adding some vocals and keyboards rounds out the sound. Rampant creativity running wild. I had a great time listening and look forward to hearing these guys again. SkaBoy
The Geckos
A staple for 10 years in the Annapolis area and also Ocean City and other places. I love to see The Geckos play. Their brand of Caribbean rock is always on target and they have a huge pile of originals and covers that is hard to find anywhere. I saw them play the Avalon Theater in Easton, MD and I think it's a show that I will always remember as one of the great ones. SkaBoy
Hightide
Piles of steel drums that they make themselves, a drum kit made out of things you find at the local hardware store, and guitar. Steel drums have such a sweet sound and Hightide puts it all together and makes some great sounds and you can tell they love doing it as well. SkaBoy

In My Room

Jack The HotRod
On a recent visit to Seattle I saw JTHR at Sit and Spin. They play straight up rock with a punk edge to it. I had a loud noisy good time. If given the chance to see them again when I'm in the Pacific Northwest I would definitely check them out again. SkaBoy

Mudshark
Mudshark ROCKS!! When I saw them I didn't know what to expect and I got a mix of some crazy good bass, drums, guitar and voice to go along with an over the top sideshow interlude with a guy sword swallowing, fire breathing and doing strange things with nails. I hear last time he caught on fire... CRAZY! SkaBoy

The Ones

The Penny Regime
Punk rock with a goofy bent. Fun was had by all watching the antics of the singer combined with some great tunes. They sound a bit like the Dead Kennedys without the political angst. Pure fun! SkaBoy
